These are confused and confusing days. Clarity of conviction seems not only rare but also unattractive. Truths and values that were once a given, are now debated and dismissed. But God’s Word does what it has always done – it speaks light into darkness, meaning into confusion and truth into lies.
At Explicit we will see that it is not only possible to know what the gospel is; it is imperative that we do so. Because the gospel is not obscure, it is our task to make it plain. Explicit will challenge, encourage and equip us to do this as we consider the gospel of grace, communities of grace and lives made holy by grace.
With a combination of plenary sessions and break-out groups Explicit will be robust practical theology for anyone who wants to be a faithful and competent minister of Christ. So whether you serve him in the home, the workplace, or in what is sometimes called ‘full-time’ gospel ministry, Explicit will help you to make plain the gospel of grace in an ambiguous, often indifferent and increasingly hostile world.

Matt Chandler, Pastor of The Village Church, Dallas and President of Acts 29. He is the author of the Explicit Gospel and co-author of Creatures of the Word.
Steve Timmis, Director of Acts 29 Europe. He has written Gospel Centred Leadership and is co-author of Total Church and Everyday Church.
Andy Paterson is Director of Mission for FIEC and was formerly Senior Minister of Kensington Baptist Church, Bristol.

Elspeth Pitt (Elspeth is involved serving women at St Helen’s Bishopsgate, London, as well as leading Christianity Explored and Central Focus. She has contributed to The Good Book College course on women’s ministry.)
